EDUCATION
At Urban Garden Seeds, our main priority is teaching children where their food actually comes from. Children today, are brought up in a world where their nutrition comes from bottles, boxes, and bags. That’s not right! Food comes from the earth, and we must support and sustain nature’s diminishing resources. Without nature, we cannot survive.
CLEAN WATER
Our watersheds may, in fact, be nature’s most valuable resource. Yet, our water sources are quickly diminishing. The word, “consumer” has proven to be true when related to water usage in the US. Although efforts have been put forth globally, the earth’s most abundant resource is quickly being polluted and depleted. We won’t likely make impressionable change in our lifetime, but educating generations to come can swing inertia in the right direction for a bright future ahead.
FOOD
Our food comes from the earth, plain and simple. It seems industry has put forth an initiative to modify the earth to boost the bottom line, rather than nurturing and caring for our natural resources to preserve quality and sustainability. This is where we can all help… One sustainable garden at a time.
